Hey I'm

 Gordon

Before we go too far you're probably wondering what an "Olbaidon" is. Olbaidon is my "internet moniker" I suppose you could say. It was a name chosen from my early teen years to use in video games, and as the decades went by I continued to use it for just about all of my internet ventures. There were times I attempted to distance myself from the name, but it always came back to me. It's my "Lady Gaga," my "Prince," it's me now. That all said I have never gone by this moniker outside of social media and internet-based conversation, and I don't feel it is needed beyond that so we'll just go with Gordon.

I was born and raised right here in the PNW, I love the Spokane area and have a feeling I'll be here for the long haul. I have an amazing, beautiful, and supportive wife as well as the two most incredible daughters a dad could ask for. We currently have two dogs and a cat too!

From about the time I hit my preteen year's graphic design was becoming a part of my life. My mom was a graphic and web designer for some years which prompted my interest in the field. I started by self-learning the ins and outs of various design programs and began dabbling in coding (thanks MySpace).

This hobby continued through high school, taking multiple design classes and building a website as part of my senior project. At the time though a hobby was all I saw it as. As time moved on after high school I actually began pursuing an education degree and teaching preschool on the side, while always learning and improving my design hobby.

A year into my actual education program I realized it wasn't for me and ultimately I graduated from Eastern Washington University with my BA in Visual Communications Design and a certificate in UX Design.

I have since worked in multiple areas of the design world over the last decade including freelance web and graphic design, production design, non-profit design, and social media marketing.

I am forever grateful that I took the leap to turn my hobby into a career and to all the friends and family members who supported me along the way.

I look forward to getting to know you and collaborating to create some incredible things.
